About Jeremy

Jeremy Serafin is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who practices in Wilmington, NC serving individuals, couples, and families with various presenting concerns from childhood to adulthood. Jeremy is licensed to practice in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Criminology from Slippery Rock University. Jeremy also earned his Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Slippery Rock University. Jeremy has consistently served people within the mental health field since 2005. He has held various roles as therapist, supervisor, and director of community based therapy settings. Jeremy has provided therapeutic services in various settings including private practice, outpatient, home, school, community, and group home settings to adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families. He utilizes various therapeutic treatment modalities including Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method, and Structural Family Therapy. Jeremy is credentialed with Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Optum, Oxford, and Oscar plans. He is currently awaiting credentialing for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. Jeremy can also provide a superbill for his out-of-network clients to help with reimbursement. Jeremy is offering in-person appointments in Wilmington, NC as well as telehealth sessions for people residing in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
